Join us for an informative session, where we will discuss the changes in aged care and how they will affect older people.
Whether you’re considering services for yourself, or as a caregiver or family member, this session aims to provide a better understanding of your rights, decision-making, accessing government-funded services and key changes to at-home services.
This session will be presented by Local Network Officer – Eastern Regional Team, Department of Health, Disability and Ageing Local Network, Pierre Nicolas.
Pierre will be joined by Sutherland Shire Council Community Development Advisor, Laura Iuliano, who will assist in providing valuable insights and answer any questions you may have. Don't miss this opportunity to stay informed and prepared for the changes ahead.
Please note: while this session is open to everyone, the particular focus of this morning session is for older people affected by the key changes in aged care.
Please be aware of the following:
- Bookings are essential (each person needs a ticket)
- Morning tea to be provided
